اللّهُمَّ يَا خَافِضُ، اخْفِضْ عَنَّا كُلَّ ضُرٍّ وَشَرٍّ، وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُتَوَاضِعِينَ لِوَجْهِكَ الكَرِيمِ. وَاخْفِضْ الظَّالِمِينَ وَالْمُفْتَرِينَ.
Transliteration:
Allahumma ya Khaafidh, ikhfid ‘anna kulla durrin wa sharr, waj’alna minal mutawadi’een li wajhika al-kareem. Wa ikhfid al-zhalimeen wal-muftareen.
Translation:
O Allah, O Reducer, O Abaser, lower from us every harm and evil, and make us among the humble for Your Noble Face. And abase the wrongdoers and the liars.
This dua can be used to seek protection from harm and evil, to cultivate humility, and to ask Allah to lower the status of oppressors and those who spread falsehood.
